RegGetKeySecurity and RegSetKeySecurity
I have enough experience with NT security to know that it is MUCH better
not
to try to do this on your own.
I would HIGHLY recommend that you take a look at NTSet from
http://www.belcaf.com/products/english/ntset.html . It handles
File and
Registry Security, Users, Event log, Shares and Services very nicely.
When I first registered this a couple of months ago, the TNTRegSecurity
Component was not in the set. I wrote to the author about the
possibility
of adding it, and viola - a few weeks later there it was!
It's shareware, with relatively clear and commented source available
for
$64. I don't know about you, but it's worth $64 to me to NOT
have to have
experience with RegGetKeySecurity and RegSetKeySecurity.
